US based property and casualty insurance group Crum & Forster has selected Accenture’s Duck Creek Policy Administration system to modernize policy processing system for commercial lines, specialty lines and workers’ compensation.

Used as a major component of rating and policy processing system, the software will enable the underwriter to quickly and easily launch and maintain products, as well as streamline policy administration processes to increase operational efficiencies.

Apart from this, the insurer has also decided to implement Accenture's Duck Creek Templates, which will allow the company to rapidly implement and maintain commercial lines and workers' compensation products.

The system provider said that its policy and claims software offers companies an integrated suite of software with modules that can be implemented individually or as part of a broader migration strategy.

The integrated software helps underwriters of all sizes to benefit from a flexible suite of property & casualty (P&C) software to configure products, transact lines of business and process claims.

Crum & Forster is a part of Fairfax Financial Holdings and provides specialty as well as standard insurance offerings.

Trading in more than 120 nations, Accenture is a global management consulting, technology services and outsourcing company, with 257,000 employees.
